The Sutton Place Hotel - they know what customer service is all about. The rooms are beautiful. http://www.vancouver.suttonplace.com/
Brock House - Right on the beach and the staff are amazing. I have heard that Brock House recommend a certain DJ due to there venue having old wiring. The DJ they recommend isn't the most flexible with music. Something to address while you are there.
The Main Street Heritage Hall is also a great venue. The walls are now a nice tan/cream colour. The pink is gone!
